Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic remains focused on life in Florence and is not allowing himself to become distracted by rumours about his future, amid reports of interest in his signature from Arsenal and Manchester City.

Jovetic has been linked with a transfer away from Fiorentina for some time, with the Premier League seemingly a possible destination for the Montenegrin, should Arsenal or Manchester City decide to formalise their supposed interest.

The 23-year-old's future has been the subject of speculation all season and, while Jovetic is acutely aware of links with some of Europe's more prominent clubs, he insists he will not allow his mind to wander towards potential moves to Arsenal or Manchester City.

"The transfer market? It has been talked about my contract and my future since the beginning of the season and I have to repeat myself: I just (think) about getting Fiorentina into Europe," Jovetic responded when asked by Sky Italia what the future holds.

"I'm focused to score as many goals as possible and to make lots of assists for team-mates.

"In June we'll see. I think only to the good of the team, of Florence and of our fans, the rest doesn't interest me. "

Manchester City are reported to have the first option on Jovetic, having negotiated this when acquiring the services of former teammate Matija Nastasic in transfer deadline day last August.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, meanwhile, has yet to finalise their list of summer targets, reports Goal.com, although Jovetic could be included come the summer transfer window.
