By the end of this week we will know who is in the hat for the last-eight of the Champions League. Barcelona face a tough task after their 2-0 reverse at the hands of AC Milan. We are also likely to be saying goodbye to England's last representitive in the cup, Arsenal. What results can we expect to see? Here are our predictions.

Barcelona v AC Milan (0-2)

After AC Milan successfully restrained Lionel Messi and co in the San Siro, as well as threatening on the counter attack, Barcelona need to overturn a two goal deficit to progress. AC Milan will use the same tactics as they did in the first leg and Barcelona will have to score 4 goals if they concede just one. It will be a special occasion and I think there will be goals.

Prediction: 3-1 aet (3-3) Milan go through on away goals.

Schalke 04 v Galatasaray (1-1)

Didier Drogba will have to use all of his explosive firepower and experience to spearhead a Galatasaray win. A crucial away goal from Jermaine Jones gave Schalke the slight advantage in this finely poised encounter. Whilst Galatasaray have been decent in this year’s competition, Schalke are unbeaten at home this in Europe, and in front of their home fans, their attack will be too strong for Galatasaray’s suspect defence.

Prediction: 2-0 (3-1)

FC Bayern Munich v Arsenal (3-1)

After a master class from Bayern in the first leg Arsenal face a near-impossible task to make it through to the quarterfinals. Although Bayern will be without Franc Ribery, Arsenal will have to cope without Jack Wilshere. Arsène Wenger’s team will have to defend a lot better for a start as well as breaking down a resolute Bayern defence that impressed at the Emirates.

It will be loud it will be frenetic, and I can’t look past the Bayern steamroller to flatten Arsenal. Unless, however, an early Arsenal goal causes Bayern to turn in to a nervous wreck of a team.

Prediction: 2-1 (5-2)

Màlaga v FC Porto (0-1)

Màlaga’s home form this campaign has been impressive, beating the likes of AC Milan and Zenit St. Petersburg in the group phase. So it may seem that a home victory against Porto should be easy. However, Porto themselves have already beaten the cosmopolitan PSG to get thus far. Jackson Martinez has been impressive, notching 3 goals already. Another powerful display could see Porto through.

Prediction: 2-0 (2-1)
