Hugo Lloris has warned his Tottenham team-mates they must not let Champions League qualification slip through their fingers in their final nine games of the season.
Spurs currently sit in 3rd place, two points clear of Chelsea in 4th and a further five ahead of Arsenal, who they beat 2-1 at White Hart Lane nine days ago.
However the north London club suffered a 3-2 defeat against Liverpool on Sunday - their first defeat in 12 games - giving their rivals a chance to close the gap once more.
A win over Liverpool would have give Tottenham a 10 point cushion over Arsenal - something they enjoyed last season before collapsing to finish behind their rivals.
Lloris, who was partially at fault for Liverpool's second-half equaliser at Anfield, has warned his side the same cannot be allowed to happen again.
'It would be better if we were 10 points clear of Arsenal but a lot of things can happen,' he said.
'We don't know but it will be close until the end of the season so we have to keep our concentration. We still have a lot of good games coming up.
'We can learn from our mistakes and the most important thing is not to do the same errors again.
'It's football but I think we didn't deserve to lose against Liverpool.
'We played well and at 2-1 we had control of the game and chances to score the third.
'But we have to look forward and stay focused.'
Spurs looked in an excellent position to make it 13 games unbeaten against Liverpool, fighting back to lead 2-1 thanks to two goals from Jan Vertonghen after Luis Suarez had given the home side the lead.
'This game must not break our confidence,' the 26-year-old said.
'We did great things before this game and it's just one game in the season.
'Anything can happen so we have to look forward.
'We have to prepare for the next game with great concentration and get three points at the end.
'We are disappointed because we lost but there are a lot of positive things to think after this.
'We have to keep clear minds about the situation. We're still third.
'We will look at other results and we can see what happens between now and the end of the season.'
