Sevilla forward Alvaro Negredo admits he could be on the move in the summer, saying that his future is in the the hands of the Andalusian club's president Jose Maria del Nido.

Negredo has been linked with a move away from Sevilla to help ease the club's debts, which stand at around €50 million.

Tottenham and Everton were believed to be eyeing a move for the 27-year-old, who has 20 goals to his name this season, while previous reports suggested Del Nido was in London trying to sell one of his most-prized assets to either Chelsea or Arsenal.

The club president has moved to refute claims Negredo could be sold and the Spanish international says he is happy to stay put, however he acknowledges he may have to be sold in order to balance the books.

"I’m happy here. If the president says that he will not sell, there are other players that can go,” he told a press conference.

"He will seek what is best for the club and if I have to leave then it is because he sees fit. But I am calm and at ease here.

"This city and this team have given me a lot. In the end, we are all in the shop window. I want to finish the season here and then the president will decide. For better or for worse, we will all benefit."

Both Arsenal and Tottenham will likely be in the market for a striker in the summer, and Negredo could form part of both club's plans.

The Gunners have yet to land a genuine replacement for Robin van Persie, a role the Spanish World Cup winner could fill at the Emirates Stadium.

Tottenham meanwhile have reportedly failed with previous attempts to land Negredo, and are believed to be eyeing him once more.

Spurs focused all their efforts on landing Brazilian Leandro Damiao in the January transfer window but failed to get their man - and with boss Andre Villas-Boas insisting that move won't be resurrected in the summer, the north London club may choose to up their interest in Negredo once more.
