Tottenham Hotspur produced a superb performance in their Europa League last-16 first leg clash last to beat Inter Milan 3-0 at White Hart Lane last week, putting them in a strong position to progress to the quarter-finals.
Spurs are being touted as favourites to lift Europe's second tier club trophy in May, but Brad Friedel says their sparkling display against the Serie 'A' giants is only half the job done.
Friedel has urged his Tottenham teammates to go for the jugular at the San Siro on Thursday night, as they can be sure to get a response from the Italians.
The 41-year-old believes that Spurs should try to score an away goal which would leave Inter needing five goals of their own to go through.
"They are still in the match at 3-0, but we'll go out there with the attitude to score," he told the Daily Star. "If we get that decisive away goal it will be a mountain to climb for them," he suggested according to the Daily Star.
The American recognises Tottenham are in a strong position and was pleased with the performance they produced last week.
"Away goals are so important and getting a clean sheet is vitally important - as was the third goal before going to the San Siro. Before the game we would have taken 3-0."
Friedel is set to keep his place in goal as manager Andre Villas-Boas continues to rotate his goalkeepers in Europe.
