Karim Benzema has struggled to find any form in this year compared to the stellar performances last season.
Due to this blip in his form there are suggestions that the French international will be heading out the exit door at the Bernabeu come the end of the season.
When asked about his future at Real Madrid and current dipping form, Benzema said:
"As of now, I'm in the best team in the world.A transfer to Paris? Maybe later but not today. I’m taking things year by year. In a career, you’ll always find some hard times."
He continued by saying: "But I feel very good. People criticise me but it’s part of my status. We have two strikers for each spot [at Real]. I’m only happy when I play 90 minutes. I can play an hour and score with my only touch, I still won’t be happy."
Benzema has not in form this season and he was seen struggling in front of goals for Real Madrid.
This might be a very good time for PSG to slot in a heavy offer in order to hurry up any transfer for the Frenchman.
For now, Benzema's future remains uncertain at Madrid and PSG may be monitoring the situation extremely closely. Both PSG and Madrid could still face each other in this seasons Champions League as both are in the quarter- finals. Madrid take on Galatasaray, whilst PSG take on Spanish giants Barcelona.
