The LA Galaxy man just pips Michael Owen (also 0.45 goals per game, but when rounded up) to fifth place on the list.

The former-Spurs striker captains the Ireland national team, and with 122 caps, is his country's second most capped player of all-time - behind Aston Villa keeper Shay Given.

He's also Ireland's record goalscorer, and by some margin. Niall Quinn is next with just 21 goals, less than half Keane's imposing total.
