A World Cup winner and a European champion, David Villa is one of the most impressive strikers of our generation.

53 goals in 86 outings includes four during Euro 2008 and five during the World Cup 2010. The Barcelona forward is Spain's all-time record scorer, and his goals-per-game ratio puts him second on the list of the world's active strikers.

Now working his way back into the Barcelona first-team after lengthy absence through injury, he'll be hoping to play his way into the national team set-up for next year's World Cup, and an opportunity to defend the 2010 trophy.
