Petr Cech - Chelsea

Football News

Reports on Tuesday claim Arsene Wenger has put together a shortlist of six candidates to replace Wojciech Szczesny this summer, and Chelsea's Petr Cech has been outlined as the top target for Arsenal.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are preparing to pounce for the 30-year-old, should Cech make way for highly-rated Thibaut Courtois at the end of the season, who has impressed on loan with Atletico Madrid.

A deal for Cech would be quite a coup indeed for Arsenal, although it would come as some surprise if Chelsea were willing to allow the Czech Republic to join one of their London rivals.
