Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has lauded the impact made by Kevin Mirallas at Goodison Park this season.
Since then, the 25-year-old has caught the attention of many for his startling runs down the flanks, quick feet movement and eye-catching dribbling ability.
Everton have been short of attacking options with Nikica Jelavic failing to replicate his form of previous season and Victor Anichebe also struggling to make a noticeable impression.
However, both Fellaini and Mirallas have stepped up to lead the Toffees charge, with the former currently leading the club’s goal-scoring charts this campaign.
Mirallas had his season cut short by an injury midway through but has nevertheless played an important part for his side. He has scored five goals in 24 appearances to date in his debut Premier League season.
And his efforts were enough to land him praise from the Everton star and his compatriot, who feels that the winger has impressed everyone by displaying multitude talents on the field.
He told Liverpool Echo: “Everybody knows Mirallas has quality.
“He can score goals and is an important player for Everton.
"Every game he can contribute and I think he has. I hope for him that he keeps going like this.
“He can dribble and is involved in the action, which is important for forward players. He can score goals and takes good corners, so he is important for the team.
"Of course there is more to come from him."
The Goodison Park outfit currently sit sixth in the Premier League and carry an outside chance of securing a Champions League football.
They are six points off fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur having played a game less than the Londoners.
