The Italy international has been scouted extensively by Manchester United over the past 12 months, as Sir Alex Ferguson looks for long term replacements for Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic.
Reports in the Metro last month also claimed that Liverpool and Arsenal were considering summer moves for the centre-back.
Arsenal have been linked with several defenders in recent weeks, as the Gunners have endured a mixed campaign defensively this term.
But the Premier League giants face stiff competition from Juventus. TalkSPORT reports that Ogbonna's agent Giovanni Branchini has held talks with the defending Serie 'A' champions. And Juventus director general Beppe Marotta admitted earlier this season that his club are interested in signing Ogbonna.
But Manchester United and Arsenal could be handed a boost by the fact that Torino are thought to prefer selling Ogbonna abroad, rather than to a Serie 'A' rival.
The report claims that could give United and Arsenal the edge in the race for the 24-year-old.
Ogbonna is highly rated in Italy, and made Cesare Prandelli's Euro 2012 squad that reached the final. His season has been punctuated by a series of niggling injuries this term, but interest reportedly still remains high.
