Mario Balotelli has been on fire since moving from Manchester City to AC Milan in January and his form appears to have extended to the Italy national team.

The Azzuri drew 2-2 with Brazil in an entertaining friendly on Thursday night and Balotelli took centre stage once again.

The hosts of World Cup 2014 were 2-1 in front ten minutes after half time when Balotelli picked up the ball just inside their half, marched forward 20 yards and curled an unstoppable shot over Julio Cesar.

The Brazil goalkeeper managed to get fingertips to it but the shot was too good for him to stop.

Brazil had gone in 2-0 up at half time thanks to goals from Fred and Oscar, the second assisted beautifully by Neymar.

Italy rallied after the break, however, and Daniele de Rossi halved the deficit from a Stephan el Shaarawy corner before Balotelli stepped up.

Watch the brilliant goal above.
