Diego Maradona - Argentina 2-1 England, 1986
Regarded by many as the best goal ever, Maradona's effort against England is so good that it is almost more memorable than his infamous Hand of God in the same encounter.
If El Diego's first strike against England was a stroke of luck, then his second was a stroke of genius, as Maradona weaved his way through almost the entire opposition with quite remarkable pace and poise.
England tried their very best to chop Maradona down in the blistering Mexican sun, but the Argentina captain kept the ball at his feet, before sliding it past Peter Shilton.
