Aston Villa | Christian Benteke

Benteke has proven himself to be the best amongst the Didier Drogba impersonators in the country. While his goals have kept Villa above the relegation zone, his overall gameplay is very impressive considering he pushed Darren Bent to the bench. Villa would do very well to hold on to him next season.

In his two seasons in England, Mata has quickly established himself as the best playmaker in the Premier League. With 10 goals and 10 assists he leads the Premier League assist charts and his link up play with Hazard is a joy to behold.

There are many detractors for Luis Suarez. His diving has created a ‘love to hate’ pantomime villain out of the Merseyside hit-man. But one  thing that cannot be denied is this Uruguayan is one of the most talented players currently playing in the premier league. With Liverpool having only one senior striker for a major part of the season, he has taken on the mantle of chief provider and scorer for a struggling Liverpool side and leads the race for Golden Boot. And any ambitions that Liverpool hold for next season depends to a lot on Suarez.

In a season where Manchester City's title defense has been over even before it has really started, Nastasic has been a shining ray of hope.
