Tottenham and Arsenal transfer target Younes Belhanda has been told he can leave the club in the summer by Montpellier's president Louis Nicollin, according to Sky Sports.
The Moroccan playmaker was expected to leave the reigning champions in January in favour of a move to Fenerbache, however, the deal fell through after the two clubs could not agree a fee.
The 23-year-old was a mainstay of the side which won the French title last year and he also picked up the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year award.
Belhanda now looks certain to leave in the summer with a move to Arsenal or Tottenham the most likely.
Henri Bedimo, previously monitored by West Ham, has also been told he can leave the club by Nicollin. The Cameroon international has previously been monitored by West Ham over a possible move, whilst former Portsmouth striker John Utaka could also be set to leave the French side.
Nicollin said: "Bedimo and Belhanda can leave. I am waiting for different offers.
"Apart from those two, we can keep the rest of the squad. Utaka can also leave, but he is expensive."
