Manchester United and Barcelona transfer target Ezequiel Garay has admitted he is aware of interest from the two clubs.
Scouts from both clubs have been tracking the Argentine recently, leading to rumours that he could leave Benfica in the summer.
"I know of United and Barca," he told O Jogo.
Garay is currently away with the Argentina squad and played the full 90 minutes in their 3-0 win over Venezuela on Saturday morning. The win helped cement Argentina's position at the top of the South American World Cup Qualifying table and the central defender is also expected to start when his side travel to Bolivia on Tuesday.
Garay joined Benfica in 2011 from Real Madrid for a fee of €5.5million after three years with the Spanish side and, after a string of good performances for the Portuguese club this season, he has attracted the attention of Manchester United and Barcelona.
However, the 26-year-old has admitted that he is not getting carried away by the reports.
"I still have two years left on this contract with Benfica, and now I just think about that and it is the only commitment I have in my head," he added.
"I am just thinking about Benfica."
