Here at GiveMeFootball, there's nothing we love more than someone making a fool of themselves.

Whether it's a Premier League footballer falling over, a referee being hounded for awarding a goal when a throw-in would have been more appropriate, or a humble goalkeeper in flip-flops hitching a ride on the back of a motorbike after going up for a corner, we love it. And you can bet your sweet behind we're going to write about it.

You won't be surprised to read then that this video fits snugly alongside the ones mentioned above. Let's be honest it may even sink a little bit lower.

It shows Boti Demel, a predatory striker for Georgian top division outfit Zestafoni, on hand and about to tuck the ball home in his side's encounter against Merani Martvili.

With the goal at his mercy and the goalkeeper beaten after the ball rebounded off the post following a free-kick, Demel simply has to tuck it home and take the plaudits of the....massive...crowd.

Alas he can't even do that as his first effort hits the post, comes back to hit him before rolling harmlessly out of play. He even has another swipe at it, missing the ball entirely.

Luckily for Demel, his side went on to a claim a 2-1 win. Unluckily for him, the watching one man and his dog could barely contain their amusement at his buffoonery. And now it's gone viral. Check it out above.
