Barcelona centre-back Gerard Pique has revealed that he would sign Real Madrid defender Pepe to bolster the Catalan giants' leaky defence.

The Spain international included fellow countryman Sergio Ramos and French youngster Raphael Varane on the list of players that would bring to Barcelona from the Santiago Bernabeu if he could.

Pique would welcome any one of the three Real Madrid centre-backs to help improve the La Liga leaders when asked which Madrid player he would like to see at Barca.

Although Barcelona are running away with the league, they found themselves having to come back from two goals down in their Champions League tie against AC Milan and suffered successive defeats to Real Madrid, who knocked them out of the Copa Del Rey.

Pique is echoing the words of teammate Sergio Busquets who also recently mentioned that he would sign Ramos from Madrid if given the opportunity.

The former Manchester United player believes that his sids needs strengthening in defence and could do with reinforcing.

"Which Madrid player I would sign for Barcelona? One of Pepe, Ramos and Varane," Pique was quoted as saying by Marca.

"With all the injuries we have in defence, that's the area where we could do with reinforcement the most. And Iker [Casillas] of course."
