Arsenal have come in for criticism this season, as their search for a trophy continues. However, there is hope, the Gunners have three stars that can help turn the tide at the Emirates.

Santi Cazorla

Signed for £16 million in the summer, Santi Cazorla took no time what so ever settling into live and football in England, with 11 goals in all competitions, he has had the best season of his career so far. His creativity and sheer brilliance has lightened an often dull season for Arsenal supporters. He also offers great experience, despite only being 28 he has won two European championships and only missed out on the Spain’s world cup triumph due to injury.

Theo Walcott

Another player who is having his best season to date, with an 18 goal tally he is Arsenal’s top scorer despite being left on the bench during the start of the campaign. This sort of form has led to an improved contract and has also led to many Arsenal fans feeling he is finally unlocking the potential that Arsene Wenger saw in him as a teenager. Walcott has had more opportunites in the strikers role in recent months and is starting to thrive in an Arsenal shirt.

Jack Wilshere

Being hailed as the next captain for club and country this 21-year-old is having an amazing season for Arsenal despite not being top of the scoring charts or even the assist charts, his drive, determination and desire have often led Arsenal through games.

Since arriving at the club at the age of nine he has been highly thought of and since his breakthrough into the first team he has been nothing short of a sensation, although an injury to his ankle kept him out for all of last season he has come back stronger than ever.
