Chelsea captain John Terry has emerged as a summer target for Fenerbahce as the defender looks to leave Stamford Bridge in the transfer window, reports in the Turkish press have claimed.
According to Sabah, Fenerbahce are monitoring the situation of Terry, while there is also interest in the Chelsea star from clubs in Spain and the Middle East.
It is unclear whether or not Chelsea would entertain the idea of allowing their skipper to leave the club at the end of the season, with the Blues already seemingly likely to lose fellow veteran Frank Lampard.
Terry has struggled with injury this season, having played just ten times in the Premier League, and Rafael Benitez has used Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic and David Luiz in central roles the absence of the 32-year-old.
However, with Terry now retired from international duty, his career is likely to be prolonged and he remains an integral part of the Chelsea set-up but, if reports are to be believed, the player may have decided that it is time to call an end on his time in west London.
Terry has played 562 times for Chelsea since graduating through their academy, and has led the club to more titles than any other captain in the club's history.
