Aston Villa face a struggle to keep Andreas Weimann after Borussia Dortmund became the latest club to linked with the Austrian international, according to German newspaper Bild.

The 21-year-old has been touted as star at Villa and has personally enjoyed a wonderful season with the struggling Midlands club.

Paul Lambert's side have found it tough going this term and he will find it difficult to keep hold of Weimann who has netted 11 goals in 30 appearances.

The young forward has been attracting attention from across the country and now across Europe with Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Inter Milan all in the running to try and sign him.

Dortmund could possibly be looking for a replacement to Polish striker Robert Lewandowski who is reportedly leaving at the end of the season to Bayern Munich or Manchester United.

The Austrian attacker has yet to agree a new contract deal leaving the door open to clubs to make offers when the season ends. His current deal expires at the end of next season.

The player is reported to be available for around only £2.5million and, with his current wages only around £15,000 per week, clubs may be tempted to try and secure his signature in the summer transfer window.
