Zlatan Ibrahimovic - international goals: 39

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's quadruple against England in November saw the Paris Saint-Germain striker leapfrog Henrik Larsson in his country's rankings, to establish himself as the most potent Swedish goalscorer in the modern era.

Ibrahimovic is now placed third in Sweden's overall tally, with only Gunnar Nordahl and Sven Rydell, both of whom began their international careers before the Second World War, ahead of him.

Four more goals will move Ibrahimovic ahead of Nordahl, a feat that should be easily achieved by the 31-year-old, while the ultimate target is surpassing Rydell's record of 49 international strikes.

Rydell's record has been in place since 1932, and 11 more goals in his international career is well within the reach of Ibrahimovic.
