Arsene Wenger is experiencing his most difficult season yet as Arsenal manager and one of the problems has been his side’s habit of conceding sloppy goals after leaving the back for exposed.

Mikel Arteta has given his all in trying to fulfil this role since the sale of Alex Song to Barcelona but he does not do it naturally and his lack of mobility has been exposed at times.
