Newcastle United centre forward Papiss Cisse is targeting a top 10 finish and European glory.
The Magpies striker believes that they have enough to make the Europa League final and move up the Premier League.
Last season the Toon were one of the real surprise packages finishing in fifth place in front of teams such as Chelsea and Liverpool.
However, their form this term has been indifferent to say the least and currently find themselves sitting in a lowly 13th place only six points above the relegation zone.
The Senegalese striker hit the ground running when he arrived at St James' Park last January scoring 13 goals in 14 appearances, but has faltered this season only netting 10 times in 37 showings.
Cisse, however, is the Geordie's top goalscorer this season and feels that the club should target a higher league position and push on for European prestige.
"We have the Europa League still. We are now into the important stages of the competition. Nobody knows it we'll win it. But the aim is to get to the final and I think that we can achieve that," he told the Evening Chronicle.
"I'm happy because I've scored a few goals and the team are starting to play well. We have enough games left now that can take us to a top 10 position.
"That is important for us. We need to start looking to next season already. That would give us a solid foundation to build from. I know that's the objective of the gaffer. We look at our remaining games and we feel we can get the wins we need to do it."
