It seems after the international break, some players were a little bit keen on getting back down to action with their clubs if the Easter weekend was anything to go by.
Not only were we treated to some pretty special games - Bayern putting just the nine past Hamburg for example or Napoli's 5-3 win over Torino - but there were plenty of individual efforts that stood out as well.
Ajax's Viktor Fischer scored perhaps the pick of lot, chipping in sublimely in front a watching Dennis Bergkamp in Ajax's win against NEC. The former Arsenal man would no doubt have been nodding in appreciation having scored more than his fair share of delightful chips over the years.
But here at GMF we've unearthed two solo stunners (and by unearthed, we mean had a glance at 101 Great Goals) that we think may be up there as contenders for goal of the weekend.
First up is Milos Bosancic's sensational 60-yard run and chip for Gyeongnam in their 2-2 draw at FC Seoul.
The Serbian embarks on a mazy run before deliciously chipping the ball beyond the grasp of the goalkeeper.
It's something special, but is it better than our second goal; another brilliant solo effort from Tokelo Rantie of Malmo?
Twisting and turning in the Halmstad box, Rantie bamboozles three opponents to work his way clear on goal before firing a rasping shot into the net.
Here at GMF towers we can't decide which one is better - or if Fischer's chip tops the lot - so we thought it would be best for you to decide.
