Juventus look on course to win their second successive Serie A crown, while they also have their sights set on European glory but face a tough challenge in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Italians have earned their place on the list by being typically Italian - that is they defend excellently and accumulate points ruthlessly.

They rank at the top of the average points-per-game list while their defensive record is the second best. The only area they really fall down in is attack - with no world class striker they have struggled to score the goals that would help them challenge for the number one spot. The arrival of Fernando Llorente and maybe even Luis Suarez may change that next term...
