So there you have it, Bayern Munich have been the strongest team in Europe this season.

The German giants really have been in a league of their own this term; they will soon win back the Bundesliga title from Borussia Dortmund for the first time in three seasons while they are on course to make up for their Champions League heartbreak against Chelsea last season.

A look at the statistics reveals just how strong Bayern have been in all areas. They accumulate on average the most points-per-game, have the strongest defence (they've conceded only 13 goals all season) and have a front line that is the envy of many that puts them in second on our list.

They face Juventus in the quarter-finals which promises to be the pick of the round. Luckily they haven't got the best coach in the world arriving to take over next season....
