Chelsea find themselves in the FA Cup semi-final and Europa League quarter-final, but is that enough for owner Roman Abramovich, or do Chelsea need Champions League football to attract the biggest names in world football to the club?
Obviously fans would be happy with two trophies come the end of the season, but playing in Europe's elite competition is a must to bring in the revenue and big names to the club. Chelsea find themselves in fourth-place in the Premier League, two points ahead of Arsenal in fifth.
Interim manager Rafael Benitez faces a long run in, with the next three games coming in the space of seven days. They have their Europa League quarter-final either side of a league fixture against Sunderland, with the first leg coming at home.
And despite Saturday's defeat to Southampton, in which Benitez fielded a some what weaker team, he is confident that Chelsea can finish in the top-four, but the race for the Champions League space will go on to the end of the season.
The Spaniard told reporters: "In the league you still have a lot of games and I think the battle for a top four finish will run for the rest of the season."
But with only one point in their last four away Premier League games, Chelsea need to improve that stat and although Chelsea have played over 50 games this season already, will need to play his strongest eleven at every opportunity.
It seems from some Chelsea fan's that Benitez is only interested in winning the FA Cup and Europa League to bolster his CV in his search for a new job in the summer.
So, will FA Cup and Europa League glory instead of Champions League football next season mean more to Chelsea or do they need Champions League football to bring top names, like Jose Mourinho and Radamel Falcao to the club?
