German pair Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen are interested in landing Chelsea youngster Kevin de Bruyne, according to reports in Belgium.

De Bruyne joined the Blues in 2012 in a deal believed to be worth around €8 million - but has never made a first team appearance for the club.

The 21-year-old was immediately loaned back to Belgian outfit Genk upon completing his move to Chelsea, while he has been on loan with Werder Bremen this term.

According to SportWereld, De Bruyne won't be with Bremen again next season but could make the move to one of their Bundesliga rivals.

The Belgian source report that Chelsea have spoken with De Bruyne's agent about his future, and claim that because of the uncertainty surrounding who will be manager at Stamford Bridge next season, the west London club are ready to loan him out once more before bringing him back permanently the following season.

Both Dortmund and Leverkusen are hopeful of landing the Chelsea star next term. Both clubs are on course to secure Champions League football next season and would be appealing options to De Bruyne.

SportWereld also report that some English clubs are keen on taking the talented youngster, but the fact Chelsea are chasing Leverkusen star Andre Schurrle could influence the club's thinking.
