Manchester City and Arsenal will have to fight it out with Juventus if they want to sign Real Madrid star Karim Benzema.

According to Portuguese daily Record, the Santiago Bernabeu club are ready to let Benzema leave after an indifferent season and Juventus are tracking him closely.

talkSPORTArsenal manager Arsene Wenger was credited with an interest in the France striker just last week in a report from .

The Gunners’ attack has been inconsistent this season and the signing of an established international could provide greater competition in the centre forward role

Arsenal’s current incumbent, Olivier Giroud, already battles with Benzema for a starting place at international level and may not welcome the same fight at his club.

Meanwhile, a report from the Daily Star last week claimed Manchester City would be given the choice of Benzema or Gonzalo Higuain as Real Madrid look to land Sergio Aguero.

The report claims Aguero wants to leave the Etihad Stadium and Roberto Mancini could well see the Frenchman as a suitable replacement.
