Five of the Greatest: Premier League games (2)

Published 7 Comments

Manchester City 3-2 QPR, 2012

Where else could we start? Manchester City's thrilling game against QPR last season was voted as the best in the Premier League era at the climax of a season voted as the best of the lot. It's probably safe to say it was a a pretty good game.

You all now the story by now - with Manchester United on their way to a win over Sunderland on the last day of the season Manchester City somehow found themselves 2-1 down to a relegation-threatened QPR.

Edin Dzeko pulled the scores level in extra-time but most still believed CIty had blown their chance of winning the title. They didn't count on Sergio Aguero scoring the last-gasp goal that would help his side pip their rivals to the post and simultaneously almost shake the Etihad Stadium free of its foundations. Cue delirium.
