Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey, has shown that he is a big character at the club after putting in some tireless displays, according to assistant manager, Steve Bould.

Ramsey has had a busy campaign so far and has appeared in 39 of Arsenal’s games - 20 as a starter - for Arsenal this season. Only Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud have featured more times than the midfield man.

Not only has Ramsey shown his desire to break into the first-team, he has also shown a lot of versatility by playing in several different positions during the season. T

The Welshman has featured playing; in an advanced attacking role, in the centre of midfield and even at full-back.

At the young age of 22, Ramsey still has a long career ahead of him, something that didn't look likely after he suffered a horrifying leg break during Arsenal's 3-0 victory against Stoke in February 2010.

Since recovering from the leg break, Ramsey hasn't quite won over all the fans at Arsenal but according to Bould, Ramsey has come through a difficult patch and has a bright future ahead of him.

Arsenal's assistant manager was speaking ahead of the club's clash against West Brom on Saturday and he insisted that he believes Ramsey will have a big career at the club.

"Aaron has been fantastic," he told Arsenal Player.

"Seeing him in day-to-day training, he works extremely hard.

"He never moans, gets on with his game and has done everything he's been asked to do. He's physically fantastic and he gives something to the team. I think he's improving all the time.

"The great thing about Aaron is he never looks tired," added Bould.

"He's never weary. He adds something to the team, he gives that physicality and on the ball he's improving all the time.

"He was getting a bit of stick [from some supporters] to begin with and I think he felt that a bit. It takes a big character to come back and he's come back massively."
