Video: Neymar scores stunning free-kick in Santos draw

Published 2 Comments

Brazilian star Neymar reinforced his credentials for a summer transfer to Europe - with Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City all reported to be interested - by scoring a sumptuous free-kick in Santos' draw with Sao Caetano on Thursday.

Neymar's days in Brazil would appear to be numbered, but the 21-year-old striker is not allowing speculation about his future to become a distraction, which he expertly demonstrated with his sixth goal in seven domestic appearances this season.

Santos, champions in the Campeonato Paulista last term, fell behind in somewhat surprising circumstances after only six minutes at the Vila Belmiro when Jael provided the visitors with the lead.

Neymar restored parity shortly after half-time, however, and in spectacular circumstances too; whipping a delicious dead ball over the wall and into the very top corner of the net.

It was a goal of real class from a man tipped for greatness at the likes of Barcelona, Chelsea or Manchester City, and you can watch it in the video below...
