Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has urged the Citizens to make a move for Chelsea target Miralem Pjanic.

However, Manchester City may have a fight on their hands as Chelsea were reported to be casting an eye over the 23-year-old with a view to replacing Frank Lampard.
Lampard’s future at Chelsea is still unclear, as no new deal has been agreed with his current contract expiring at the end of the season.
Dzeko will certainly be hoping Stamford Bridge isn’t Pjanic’s next destination as he even suggested the speculation surrounding is own future could be put to bed were the creative midfielder to join him at Manchester City.
“I have recommended Pjanic before to Manchester City - they know all about him," he is quoted as saying in the Express report.
"On one occasion, the manager, Roberto Mancini, asked me whether Pjanic was Bosnian. I said: ‘Of course he’s Bosnian!’
"I wouldn’t be surprised if Pjanic came to City, and I sincerely hope he does. If ‘Mire’ came to City then I would certainly not want to leave the Etihad.”
Dzeko’s failure to cement a place in Mancini’s starting line-up has seem him linked with moves away to various clubs, most notably Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund.
Pjanic and Dzeko are both key players for the Bosnia-Herzegovina national team, with the former making 38 appearances.
