Roberto Carlos retired from playing last year having won the World Cup, four La Liga titles, and three Champions League crowns - among several other honours - but the former Real Madrid will forever be remembered for one moment of brilliance.
It came in Le Tournoi, a friendly international tournament hosted in France a year before the World Cup in 1998 and, most shockingly of all won by England. But a breathtaking goal was the most iconic moment of the competition.
Taking on a free-kick against France some 35-yards from goal, Carlos charged at the dead ball from ridiculously long run-up and proceeded to lash a mind-boggling banana shot with his left foot, which fairly flew into the net. Fabian Barthez didn't even move.
