It's getting to that time of the year again, where the days get a little longer, the sunshine gets a little (tiny bit) brighter and the football season edges closer to a crescendo.
That can only mean one thing; end-of-season lists. And luckily for us, two absolute beauties went in at the weekend, and that can only mean that the candidates for the Premier League Goal of the Season are on the agenda.
First off, Matt Lowton hit a stunning volley against Stoke to help Aston Villa claim three absolutely vital points, while Loic Remy almost did the same for QPR with an equally brilliant goal, only for Wigan's Shaun Maloney to grab a late equaliser that all but consigns the Hoops to the drop.
