Video: Inter star misses last minute open goal in 4-3 loss

Inter Milan were left stunned by an amazing Atalanta comeback on Sunday evening, although the most jaw-crapping moment came courtesy of an inexplicable open goal miss from Andrea Ranocchia in the closing stages.

Inter moved into a 3-1 lead thanks to an opener from Tommaso Rocchi and a Ricky Alvarez brace, while Giacomo Bonventura pulled one back for the visitors, before a dramatic final 25 minutes at the San Siro.

German Denis scored from the spot - the fourth goal in just nine minutes - before adding two more in quick succession to place Atalanta in the lead with less than a quarter of an hour remaining.

Cristian Raimondi also saw red for the eventual winners, but Inter were left to rue a baffling failure from Ranocchia when he had the goal at his mercy.
