Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry has provided Arsene Wenger with another reason to offer him a path into the club's first team after scoring a stunning goal in Monday's under-21 loss to Liverpool.
The 17-year-old German forward was handed his Arsenal debut last September, and has since made a further three appearances, but has yet to establish himself as a regular member of Wenger's matchday squads.
Gnabry, however, has been metaphorically knocking on the door of the Arsenal manager after some influential performances for club and country, including almost taking the Gunners into the final of the NextGen Series.
The teenager's most recent eye-catching moment came in a 3-2 defeat for Arsenal at Anfield, but offered a glimpse of the potential Gnabry possesses as he turned on a sixpence and fired expertly into the top corner.
