Former AC Milan defender Thiago Silva has stated that anything is possible as speculation linking him with a move Barcelona continues.

And the Brazilian international may have got the attention of the Catalan club as he hinted that he would be open to a move if they came knocking again.

Silva left Milan last summer and was linked with a move to Barca before he eventually signed for PSG, and following an impressive season rumours have sparked once again indicating that the defender may be on his way to the Camp Nou.

The 28-year-old continued to display his class after putting in a commanding performance in the first leg of les Parisiens’ Champions League quarter-final clash against the Blaugrana and has left the door open to a possible switch to Spain after admitting that he doesn’t know what the future holds.

“You can never close the door on something, because you don't know what will happen in the future. I am happy now, but you never know what will happen in the future," the defender told El Mundo Deportivo when questioned about a potential move to Barca.

"There were conversations between Barcelona and my agent last year, but I had already given my word to [PSG director] Leonardo. There's no way back once you've given your word.

"Everybody has dreams. I have been following Barcelona ever since I was a kid and they had players like Romario, Ronaldo and Rivaldo.

"Do I have a buy-out clause? I only just got here and I'm not thinking about that. But we all know that a solution can always be found."

If the speculation is indeed true Barca may find themselves having to pay top dollar for Silva as PSG will want to keep hold of their star defender, who is contracted with the French side until the summer of 2017.
