Arsenal and Tottenham are leading the chase to sign highly-rated Getafe star Abdelaziz Barrada, and the Moroccan international has hinted he's ready to quit the La Liga club, according to talkSPORT.

Spurs and Arsenal are among several clubs monitoring the Moroccan midfielder, and the Premier League pair are thought to be at the front of the chasing pack.

The 23-year-old has said he'd love to play Champions League football in the future, and with Spurs and Arsenal battling it out for a top four spot, qualification for next season's tournament could be a vital clincher when it comes to snaring Barrada.

Speaking to Spanish newspaper AS, Barrada said: "I would love the chance to play for a big club and to play in the Champions League.

"That is the dream of any footballer and I want to play at the highest level."

Barrada has impressed in a Getafe team that's performed well in La Liga this season, currently occupying eighth place.

The young midfielder has three goals and six assists in the league so far this term. Primarily an attacking midfielder, Barrada can operate on the left and right, as well as through the middle.

He has nine caps for Morocco, and moved to Getafe in 2010 after spending three years with the Paris St Germain reserves.
