An impressive debut is one of the best ways to make a name for yourself at your new club and it can shape your future image at the club.
It is always nice for a footballer to start on the right foot when they move to a new club, and debuts come with a great deal of pressure, especially if the club has forked out millions for you.
It can be hard to judge a good debut because, technically, the new fans won't be expecting much straight away from you. So, in a way, it can be quite a relaxed performance where the player can just do what they do best.
