Freestyle Champion reveals new crossbar challenge video

Published 3 Comments

In modern day football their isn't much room for fun; such is the money and prestige on offer that most games are driven by the desire to succeed at all costs.

The Top Four Premier League race, for example, starts up on the very first day of the season in August and there is no respite in the talk of collapses, pressure and "drama" all the way through until May.

So it's nice to see then that there are some people out there that still see football as the that game it is - and boy does this girl enjoy it.

Indi Cowie has become something of a YouTube sensation thanks to her freestyle skills that have taken her around the world.

The 18-year-old was named the FIFA Street World Street Champion ahead of 80 of the best freestylers by none other than Lionel Messi last year.

The young American, who has Scottish parents, has made appearances at Old Trafford and at an all-star game alongside Pep Guardiola and Kobe Bryant.

To top it all off she broke a world record for the most backheel kick-ups ever in August - managing a startling 102. Check out that video here.

The UNC Chapel Hill star's new video, released this week, showcases her skills in all their glory as she pulls off a string of mind-boggling flicks and tricks before hitting the crossbar of a near-by goal with each attempt.

Check out her insane skills below!
