Living up to your father’s name can be a difficult enough task for any young boy, but when your old man is a world football superstar it gets even more difficult.

That is the reality for very few boys and the pressure must be immense, yet many choose they want to follow in the footsteps of their famous fathers.

This will be harder for some than others and you think the young Thiago Messi has possibly the hardest act to follow, especially with some people already speculating over which team he will join.

It might be a touch early to be making predictions for the son of Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi, what with him being less than half a year old.

However, some young men have decided they have what it takes to make their own way in the football world and are currently doing the hard work of going through the youth ranks at their respective clubs.
