Wigan Warriors prop Scott Taylor is braced for the biggest game of the season against St Helens on Friday night.
The Super League powerhouses go head-to-head in an early battle for supremacy, with both sides level on 11 points after eight games thus far.
Previous meetings suggests the clash at the DW Stadium is sure to be fiercely contested, with four players sent off in the last four matches. Indeed, the clash at Magic Weekend saw a 26-man brawl erupt as the Warriors put the Saints to the sword.
Taylor will be hoping for a similar outcome in terms of scoreline, and can't wait to sample the atmosphere of such a big match.
"They've told me it's the biggest game of the season and I can only imagine what the atmosphere's going to be like. I've played in a Hull FC-Rovers derby in front of 20,000. It's going to be like that, but bigger and better," he told BBC Manchester.
"It's the one the fans want the most. It's about bragging rights for teams. When it comes around, everyone's got a lot of adrenaline and everyone's ready to rip into it."
The Easter break has thrown up a number of massive matches in Super League, with Leeds and Bradford meeting tonight (Thursday), before both Hull sides go head-to-head on Friday.
And Taylor, who used to play for Hull KR, will be keeping a close eye on his old club ahead of Wigan’s match against them on Monday.
"It would be nice to watch that one (the Hull derby)," he added.
"I'm so excited to have my first Wigan-Saints derby coming up, but it will be nice to sit down and enjoy a Hull derby.
"I've got a lot of mates at Hull KR and I know how big it is for those two clubs. I'll definitely be watching it and will be glued to the television like any other fan."
