Andre Villas-Boas said Tottenham did practise penalties before their Europa League exit against Basel last night.

Tom Huddlestone and Emmanuel Adebayor missed from the spot after the quarter-final tie had ended 4-4 on aggregate.

Rafa Benitez says he is happy with Chelsea's effort in making it through the Europa League semi-finals - despite their 3-2 loss against Rubin Kazan last night.

Chelsea progressed to the last four at the expense of the Russians by virtue of a 5-4 aggregate win.

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville insists he doesn't have a problem with Chelsea defender David Luiz.

Neville said Luiz played like he was being "controlled by a 10-year-old on a PlayStation" last season - but now insists he rates the Brazilian highly.

Kevin Keegan says Roberto Mancini must be kept on as Manchester City boss next season.

Keegan, who took charge of the Citizens between 2001 and 2005, says the Italian is the right man for the job despite their lacklustre Premier League campaign.

Lionel Messi will not feature for Barcelona again until the Champions League semi-finals, according to reports in Spain.

The Argentinian picked up a hamstring injury earlier this month, although he emerged from the bench to help Barca see off Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.

According to Sport newspaper, Messi will sit out Barca's next two league fixtures to ensure he is 100% fit for the semi-finals.

And finally, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says both Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott will be fit to return against Norwich this weekend - but Tomas Rosicky is rated as only 50/50.
