Hulk will snub interest in him from Chelsea and will definitely stay at Zenit St Petersburg, according to Bruno Alves.

Recent reports claimed Jose Mourinho had told Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich he wanted the Brazil international at Stamford Bridge is he is to take over.

Chelsea were reportedly close to signing Hulk before made the switch from Porto to Zenit in a deal worth £39.5million.

Hulk was reportedly getting tired of life in Russia after Zenit were embroiled in a racism scandal after a supporters group issued a statement saying they did not agree with non-white or homosexual players at the club.

This led to further speculation that he would rekindle a move to Chelsea in the summer.

However, the 26-year-old’s colleague at the Russian club believes he won’t be going anywhere this summer and will resist any overtures from Chelsea or elsewhere.

“I am confident that the Hulk will continue in Zenit,” the Portugal international reportedly told Zenit Radio.

Should Hulk join Chelsea, he would join Brazil colleagues David Luiz, Oscar and Ramires in representing the Seleção at Stamford Bridge.
