Five of football's classic kits (1)

Published Add your comment

Today is Football Shirt Friday, a day dedicated to the memory of England's World Cup winning captain Bobby Moore.

The former-West Ham and England centre-back died 20 years ago from bowel cancer, and he would have turned 72 today.

In his memory, fans across the UK are raising money to fight the disease by wearing their favourite football kits to work.

And that got us thinking at GMF - which kits are true classics? The sort that instantly bring to mind key moments in football history, now synonymous with their club or country.

We've decided to pick five of our favourites, but it's by no means a definitive list. Feel free to add your own in the comment section below.

And remember, if you want to donate to the Bobby Moore Fund, you can text, or donate through the Fund's website. Click here for more details.
