Matthew Lowton | Aston Villa

Aston Villa right-back Matt Lowton scored a goal worthy of winning any game when he chested down a Stoke City clearance 30-yards out, before letting fly a spectacular volley to put the visitors 2-1 up in the 87th minute.

The goal came after Potters winger Michael Kightly had cancelled out Gabby Agbonlahor's opener during this relegation six-pointer, before Christian Benteke confirmed victory when he sprung the hosts' offside trap to lift Villa out of the drop zone.
