Luiz Adriano completed a stunning late win for Shakhtar Donetsk at the weekend, as the Brazilian's wonderful strike from distance condemned Zorya to a 3-0 defeat, having been level with nine minutes remaining.
Zorya had admirably repelled the Shakhtar attack for 81 minutes before Sergey Krivtsov found the net for the Ukrainian champions elect, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan confirmed the three points for the hosts with only seconds left.
There was still time, however, for Adriano to add his name to the scoresheet and inflict further damage on Zorya, and the forward did so in spectacular circumstances as he found the top corner from 25 yards.
Adriano had, in the lead up to the last January transfer window, been linked with Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool, and the 26-year-old highlighted his credentials for a Premier League switch with his latest cracker.
Shakhtar Donetsk are now 20 points clear the top of the Ukrainian Premier League with just one game left.
