Guarin's agent Marcelo Ferreyra has rubbished reports linking his midfielder with a move to the Premier League, after speculation credited Tottenham with an interest in the Colombian international.
The former-Porto star played under Andre Villas-Boas in Portugal but joined Inter Milan in January 2012. Despite the reports of Tottenham interest, Ferreyra insisted Guarin's links with Villas-Boas means he would be the first to know of any Spurs interest.
Speaking to calciomercato.it, Ferreyra said: "These are all lies, neither Fredy nor I are looking for new solutions. He wants to improve and win with Inter.
"We know nothing about Tottenham's interest and I think there is nothing. Given the bond we have with Villas-Boas, if there was anything we would be the first to know about it.
"I'm not talking with any clubs because Fredy wants to stay at Inter."
The 26-year-old has made 28 league appearances for Inter Milan this season, scoring four times, but the Italian side have struggled and currently sit seventh in Serie 'A'.
Tottenham dispatched Inter at the Europa League last-16 stage, only to fall to Basel in the quarter-finals.
Villas-Boas has also been linked with another summer move for one of his former Porto stars who now plays for Inter Milan. Alvaro Pereira, who played under Villas-Boas at Porto alongside Guarin, has been mentioned as a possible summer target as Spurs look for a new left-back.
